The opening episode introduces Tsunetaka, a reclusive man who has spent twenty years as the self-styled security officer of his own home. When his father remarries and brings a new wife and her two daughters into the household, Tsunetaka refuses to accept the arrangement and begins scheming to drive them out. Tensions rise as he fixates on the younger daughter, Yuki, setting the stage for the conflict to come.
